A fully working brass woolwinder c1900 on mahogany base by Goodbrand and Co. The makers name lies inside the dial alongside the brass bell which dings when the hand goes past 12 0'clock.
A good, heavy, strong yet strangely elegant piece of factory/industrial sculpture.
